Just a Little Sweeter, a growing Australian gifting brand, needed a fully cutomised design and professionally structured Shopify store to support increased demand and deliver a seamless customer experience. Their existing setup lacked a cohesive brand identity, modern user experience, and the ecommerce flexibility required for selling customisable gift boxes, special-occasion products, and personalised items.
Our team at Growth Digital was engaged to design and build an entirely new Shopify website from the ground up—one that reflected their brand personality, improved customer engagement, and provided a scalable foundation for long-term growth.

The objective was to create a visually appealing, easy-to-navigate, mobile-optimised store with improved product presentation, enhanced browsing flow, and robust SEO readiness. In addition to the website build, we supported the brand’s creative direction with logo design, packaging design, website banners, and product stickers for a consistent, memorable brand identity.

Our strategy began with building the entire website structure with a strong focus on branding, user experience, and conversion flow. We created a completely new Shopify storefront—designing every page from scratch to ensure visual consistency, modern aesthetics, and a smooth browsing experience across homepage, collections, and product pages.

A key part of the project involved setting up all products with accurate variants including sizes, flavours, occasion boxes, and packaging options. We also integrated custom product fields for gift messages, gift card choices, and personalised selections to support the brand’s custom gifting model.

New high-quality product images were optimised for Shopify performance, and all product titles, descriptions, pricing, and SKUs were standardised to maintain clean data management and long-term scalability. With consistent branding and refined layout design, the new structure delivers clarity, ease of use, and increased engagement.

Just a Little Sweeter’s Shopify store required a logical and intuitive browsing journey, especially as customers shop by occasion, gifting needs, and product types. We restructured all collections into clear, SEO-friendly categories such as Gift Boxes, Occasions, Party Favours, and Customisable Gifts.

Each collection layout was redesigned to enhance visual appeal and help users browse with ease. Smart filtering options were implemented to simplify product discovery, allowing customers to sort by type, occasion, price, and more.
Navigation was re-engineered to reduce friction, improve usability, and create a user journey that naturally leads to product pages and checkout. Additionally, the header and footer were organised to include important links, customer support pages, and quick-access shopping categories.

These improvements combine to create an efficient, engaging and conversion-friendly shopping flow that aligns with modern e-commerce expectations.

Performance optimisation was a key objective to ensure the store loads quickly and delivers a smooth shopping experience across all devices. We implemented compressed, optimised images; removed unnecessary scripts; and aligned all visuals with Shopify’s performance standards. This significantly improved page load speed and overall responsiveness.

A full mobile optimisation strategy was also executed, with improved button placement, touch-friendly layouts, responsive images, and streamlined mobile navigation. The enhanced mobile experience contributes to better Core Web Vitals and reduced bounce rates.
To strengthen organic visibility, we built a solid SEO foundation with optimised meta titles and descriptions for all core pages, clean H1/H2 structures, improved internal linking, and SEO-friendly collection and product URLs. Alt text was added to all images for accessibility and search relevance.
