GD: Wholesale Pro | Shopify Wholesale App

Wholesale pricing on your existing Shopify store, without the rebuild.

GD: Wholesale Pro is our Shopify app for merchants who sell to trade customers as well as the public. Collect wholesale applications, approve buyers with one click, and show approved accounts their own prices, while everyone else keeps seeing retail.

What it does

Everything a trade channel needs, inside Shopify.

A wholesale channel usually means three jobs: deciding who qualifies, showing them the right prices, and keeping thousands of rates up to date. The app handles each one without a second store or any code.

01

Wholesale pricing

Custom price lists, tiers and discounts, so each buyer group sees the right price.

Set wholesale rates by hand inside the app, or build them from percentage and fixed discounts and pricing tiers. Approved wholesale accounts see their prices; ordinary shoppers keep seeing your retail prices.

  • Fixed discounts

Visibility

  • Wholesale-only rates
  • Retail prices unchanged
  • Customer groups
  • Wholesale login

02

Registration & approval

Custom B2B sign-up forms with a one-click approval workflow.

Collect the details you need from new trade applicants on a form you control, then approve them from inside the app. Approved customers are tagged automatically, so the right pricing applies from their first order.

Bulk updates from Excel

Update thousands of variant rates in a single import.

Maintaining wholesale rates variant by variant doesn’t scale past a few dozen products. Import and export through Excel to update B2B prices, and compare-at prices, across a large catalogue at once.

How it works

From install to first wholesale order, in three steps.

Install and set up the form

Add the app to your store, then build the B2B registration form with the fields you actually need from a trade applicant.

  • Install from the App Store
  • Build the form
  • Set approval rules

Approve your buyers

New applications arrive in the app. Review them and approve with one click; approved customers are tagged automatically.

  • Review applications
  • One-click approval
  • Automatic tagging

Set and update rates

Add wholesale prices, tiers and discounts in the app, or import an Excel sheet to set thousands of variant rates at once.

  • Price lists and tiers
  • Excel import
  • Update any time

Who it’s for

Built for stores that sell both ways, retail and trade.

Retailers adding a trade channel

You already sell to the public and trade customers keep asking for better rates. Wholesale Pro lets you open an application-only wholesale tier on the store you already run, rather than building a separate site.

  • Retail plus trade
  • Application-only access
  • One store

Makers, brands and suppliers

If stockists, cafes or small businesses buy from you in volume, tiered pricing and customer groups let you reward larger buyers without discounting for everyone.

  • Stockists
  • Volume tiers
  • Customer groups

Merchants with big catalogues

Updating wholesale rates by hand gets painful fast. The Excel import and export turns a week of price edits into a spreadsheet job.

  • Large catalogues
  • Excel workflow
  • Compare-at prices

Wholesale Pro covers the common trade setup. If you need more, such as account-specific catalogues, approval flows tied to your ERP or CRM, or a custom B2B portal, we build that too. Tell us how your trade customers buy today and we’ll tell you honestly whether the app is enough.

We’d love to hear from you.

A Shopify wholesale app from a Shopify agency

GD: Wholesale Pro is one of three Shopify apps we publish on the Shopify App Store, alongside GD: Price Updater Pro for bulk price changes and GD: Inventory Sync Pro for bulk stock updates by SKU. They’re built by the same team that does Shopify and Shopify Plus development for Australian merchants. New to wholesale? Read our guide to setting up wholesale pricing on Shopify.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do wholesale customers see different prices from retail shoppers?

Yes. Approved wholesale accounts see the wholesale rates you set for them, while everyone else sees your normal retail prices. Approved customers are tagged automatically, which is how the app knows which prices to show.

How do customers apply for a wholesale account?

Through a custom B2B registration form that you build in the app. You choose the fields, review the applications as they arrive, and approve each one with a click.

What is an active B2B pricing variant?

Plan limits are set by the number of product variants that have wholesale pricing applied. The Free plan covers 10, Startup 100, Growth 500, and Expand is unlimited. Check the current App Store listing for the latest limits.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. There is a free plan, and the paid plans come with free trials (7 days for Startup and Growth, 14 days for Expand), according to the current listing.

Will it work with my Shopify plan?

The App Store listing states which stores the app is compatible with, so check its compatibility note before installing. If your setup is unusual, get in touch and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

What store data does the app access?

The listing sets out the access it requests, including customer details and recent orders, which it needs to run wholesale accounts. Read the data access section of the listing, and our privacy policy, before you install.

Can you build something custom for our trade customers?

Yes. Custom B2B portals, ERP-linked pricing and account-specific catalogues are the kind of project we take on. Start with the Shopify development page or get in touch.
