Automation Pricing

Every automation is different. So is the quote.

Automation isn’t one fixed product — a single two-tool connection and a multi-system workflow with custom AI cost genuinely different amounts to build. We scope every project against what you actually need, then give you one fixed quote before any work starts.

Pricing

What actually drives the cost.

No fixed packages here — every automation project is scoped individually. These are the factors that move the price up or down.

Number of tools connected

A single two-tool automation (a form feeding a CRM, say) is the simplest and cheapest build. Every additional system adds scoping, mapping and testing time.

Workflow complexity

Straightforward trigger-based automations cost less than multi-step workflows with conditional logic, approvals and exception handling.

Custom AI or bespoke integration

Off-the-shelf Zapier or Make connections are cheaper than a custom AI chatbot or a bespoke API built against a system with no existing integration.

Data volume & reliability needs

An automation handling a handful of records a day is simpler than one processing high volume with strict uptime or audit-trail requirements.

Documentation & handoff

Simple automations your team can tweak without us cost less to document than complex systems that need detailed runbooks.

How automation pricing works

There’s no three-tier package for automation, because the work genuinely varies too much — a single email-to-Slack notification and a multi-department approval workflow with custom reporting aren’t the same job, and pricing them identically would either overcharge the simple project or underscope the complex one. Instead, every automation gets a proper discovery conversation first.

That conversation covers what you’re automating, which tools are involved, how complex the logic needs to be, and what should happen if something breaks. From there we scope the actual build and give you one fixed number — not an estimate that quietly grows once we’re partway through.

See our Automation service page for the full range of workflow, marketing, ecommerce and reporting automation we build.

FAQ

Pricing questions, answered.

Why isn’t there a price list for automation?

Because the work varies too much to fit a fixed package. A single two-tool connection and a multi-system workflow with custom AI genuinely take different amounts of time to scope, build and test, so pricing them the same way would be misleading either direction.

How long does it take to get a quote?

Most automation quotes are ready within a few business days of an initial conversation, once we understand what you’re trying to automate and how the tools involved actually work.

Is there a minimum project size?

No. We build automations of every size, from a single two-tool connection through to multi-system workflows — there’s no minimum scope that rules out a smaller project.

Do you charge hourly, or a fixed price?

Fixed price, scoped upfront. You’ll know the total cost before any work starts, not partway through the project.

What about ongoing support after launch?

Ongoing monitoring and refinement is quoted separately, based on how much active support the automation needs — some clients want us watching it monthly, others just want it documented well enough to manage themselves.
